With the Telangana Municipal Elections scheduled for February 11, 2026, the political atmosphere has intensified. In a significant development, Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has reportedly agreed to campaign in Telangana.
Initially, there were reports of Jana Sena contesting solo to strengthen its base in Telangana. However, following recent high-level meetings with Telangana BJP leaders like Kishan Reddy, it appears the alliance will continue.
Pawan Kalyan is expected to campaign for both Jana Sena candidates and ally BJP candidates to bolster their winning chances.
Elections will be held for 123 local bodies (including 7 Corporations and 116 Municipalities).
After Jana Sena's 100% strike rate in the AP Assembly elections, there is massive curiosity among the youth and fans in Telangana regarding Pawan Kalyan’s entry into the municipal poll fray.
