Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has appointed two special advisors, among whom Telugu-origin businessman Vishnuvardhan Reddy has secured a key position. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, who is reportedly a close relative of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, has been appointed as a special advisor along with John Arockiasamy. The appointments have triggered widespread discussion in political circles.
Hailing from Erradoddipalle village in Kalikiri mandal of Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh, Vishnuvardhan Reddy moved to Chennai around 15 years ago and established himself in the granite business. Over time, he built strong connections in business, Tamil cinema, and political circles, eventually becoming one of the close associates of Vijay. Reports suggest that he played a key strategic role in the TVK party and has been actively involved in Vijay’s political, financial, and even film-related responsibilities. His official induction as special advisor has now further elevated his profile in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape.
