At the Global Summit 2025, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision, outlining an ambitious roadmap to transform the state into one of the most developed regions in the country and the world. He stated that by 2034, Telangana aims to become a one trillion dollar economy and reach three trillion dollars by 2047, contributing 10% to India’s GDP. Despite having only 2.9% of the country’s population, the state already contributes nearly 5% to the national GDP. He highlighted Telangana’s focus on strong governance, innovation, and sustainable development as key pillars of this transformation.
The Chief Minister introduced the CURE, PURE, and RARE economic models to strategically divide development across Core Urban, Peri-Urban, and Rural Agricultural regions. Drawing inspiration from global economic powerhouses such as Guangdong in China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and Singapore, Telangana is aiming to follow a similarly aggressive growth model. He invited business leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and global investors to become partners in the state’s growth journey, stating that while the vision may appear difficult, it is certainly achievable through collective effort and commitment. He concluded with the message, “Telangana Rising is a continuous process. Come and join the rise.”
