Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has written an open letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, extending birthday wishes and raising concerns over recent remarks on state bifurcation. He stated that making controversial and inappropriate comments about the division of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is not beneficial and only fuels unnecessary tensions among Telugu people. He urged Chandrababu Naidu to intervene and advise leaders from alliance parties to refrain from such statements.
The minister also expressed concern over comments made by leaders comparing the state bifurcation to the India-Pakistan partition, calling them inappropriate and divisive. He emphasized that both states should move forward with unity, mutual respect, and cooperation for development. Ponnam Prabhakar requested the AP Chief Minister to take steps to prevent such remarks and ensure harmony between the two states.
