Telangana Graduate MLC Polls: Congress Finalises Candidates for Two Constituencies

The Congress has finalised its candidates for the two Graduates’ MLC constituencies in Telangana. Sama Rammohan Reddy has been named as the party’s candidate for the Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduates’ constituency, while Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy will contest from the Nalgonda–Khammam–Warangal Graduates’ constituency. The Congress high command approved both names on September 29, 2026.

The elections are scheduled for March 2027, as the terms of the current members in these two Graduates’ constituencies are set to end that month. The voter enrolment process has already begun, with eligible graduates required to submit Form-18 for inclusion in the electoral rolls. The final electoral rolls are scheduled to be published on December 30, 2026. The exact polling dates will be announced separately by the Election Commission.
