Telangana Govt Not Acting With Vendetta in Bandi Bhageerath Case: Ponnam Prabhakar!

Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the Telangana government is not acting with any political vendetta in the case registered against Bhageerath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Addressing the media, the minister said Bandi Sanjay himself should have demanded a fair investigation into the allegations against his son instead of claiming political conspiracy and seeking sympathy. He added that the accused should focus on proving innocence through legal means.

Ponnam Prabhakar said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had already directed the DGP to ensure a fair and impartial investigation. He stated that a woman DCP-level officer is supervising the inquiry and warned that no one, regardless of position or influence, would escape punishment if found guilty. The minister also emphasized that the Telangana government stands firmly with victims in such cases and rejected attempts to bring caste or political angles into the matter.
