The Telangana Government has taken a key decision by appointing whips in both the Assembly and the Legislative Council to ensure better coordination. Orders were issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao to implement this move aimed at strengthening legislative functioning.
In the Assembly, the government appointed Vemula Veeresham, Vijaya Ramana Rao, and Yennam Srinivas Reddy as whips to ensure unity among members. For the Legislative Council Addanki Dayakar and Balmuri Venkat were assigned responsibilities to coordinate members and ensure their presence during important discussions and bill proceedings.
