The Telangana State Government has officially issued orders for the conduct of the Gaddar Film Awards 2025, according to State Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy. Films that receive certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1 and December 31, 2025, will be eligible for these awards.
In addition to the existing award categories, the government is introducing new ones this year. A special award titled “Best Social Message Film” will be presented to movies highlighting social awareness. Furthermore, the Dr. C. Narayana Reddy Award will be given under a special category.
The minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the state government is taking significant steps to strengthen and support the film industry.
Eligible producers and applicants can obtain application forms and detailed guidelines until January 31, 2026, while the final date for submission of entries has been set as February 3, 2026.
The minister urged all eligible filmmakers to carefully follow the prescribed guidelines and submit their applications within the stipulated timeframe.
