

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has left for Goa to participate in the ‘Goem Rakhnn’ Yatra organised by the Goa Congress. He is scheduled to join the foot march this evening from the Chieftains Memorial to the Cuncolim Bus Stand and address a public meeting afterwards. Following the programme, the Chief Minister is expected to travel from Goa to Delhi tonight.
The Goa Congress launched the ‘Goem Rakhnn’ Yatra in Panaji on September 22. The 27-day campaign is covering 40 constituencies across the state and is scheduled to conclude on October 18. The campaign aims to protect Goa’s land, environment, culture, heritage and local identity. According to the Goa Congress, the yatra is also intended to raise public awareness about the policies of the ruling BJP government.
