

The State Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council will convene today at 10:30 am. Question Hour has been cancelled in both Houses, with condolence motions scheduled in memory of recently deceased MLAs and MLCs.
The Assembly will pay tributes to former MLAs Ram Reddy, Damodar Reddy, and Konda Lakshma Reddy, while the Council will observe condolence motions for Madhavaram Jagapathi Rao and Ahmed Peer Shabbir.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao and Seethakka are expected to table several official papers in both Houses.
Following the adjournment, the Business Advisory Committee will meet to decide the duration of the session. The BRS has demanded that the legislature sit for at least 15 days, and former Chief Minister KCR is set to attend the proceedings.
Key debates are expected on Krishna and Godavari river waters and related projects. The government is planning a detailed presentation, while the opposition has sought equal opportunity to present its views. The election of the Deputy Speaker and introduction of certain ordinance-backed bills are also on the agenda.
