Telangana Assembly Speaker Prasad Kumar Breaks Down

Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar became emotional and broke down in the House following remarks made by BRS MLC Tata Madhu. During the Assembly proceedings, Minister Seethakka strongly condemned Tata Madhu’s comments, describing the alleged remarks about the Speaker’s mother as deeply hurtful. The statement left Prasad Kumar visibly emotional, with the Speaker shedding tears in the Assembly.

Speaking to the media after the House was adjourned, Prasad Kumar said Tata Madhu’s remarks had caused him considerable pain. He said Seethakka had been tying him a Rakhi for the past five years and that he could not hold back his emotions after seeing her cry in the Assembly. Prasad Kumar said the Assembly would pass a resolution condemning Tata Madhu’s remarks and forward it to the Legislative Council for further consideration.
