At the conclusion of the ‘Telangana Rising–2047’ Global Summit, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the state’s long-term development Vision Document. Prepared with inputs from citizens, economists, and global institutions, the document outlines Telangana’s ambition to become a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2034 and a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047.
Several national and international economists, including Anand Mahindra, Duvvuri Subbarao, Arvind Subramanian, Suman Bery, and Professor Muralidharan, praised the document’s clarity and the government’s development approach. Former UK PM Tony Blair and former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan also shared their appreciation online.
The Vision Document focuses on balanced development across Core Urban, Peri-Urban, and Rural–Agri regions. Key priorities include infrastructure expansion, transparent governance, global-standard education and health systems, women and youth empowerment, digital governance, environmental sustainability, and major connectivity projects such as Regional Ring Road, Bullet Train corridors, Future City, and Moosi River rejuvenation.
Multiple companies signed MoUs for future investments during the summit. The government emphasized its commitment to raising living standards and ensuring equitable, inclusive development across Telangana.
