The Telugu Desam Party has unveiled its new Politburo, national, and state committees with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, experience, and youth representation. Minister Nara Lokesh has been appointed as the party’s Working President, while Palla Srinivasa Rao has been named the State President. The leadership stated that positions were assigned based on loyalty, dedication, and experience, while also ensuring opportunities for emerging leaders.
The newly formed structure includes a 29-member Politburo, a 31-member national committee, and a 185-member state committee. Significant representation has been given to women and socially backward sections, with 50 women included in the state committee and substantial quotas allocated to BC, SC, ST, and minority communities. Party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that the restructuring was carried out with a vision for the 2029 elections, focusing on balanced social representation, grassroots leadership, and strengthening the party at all levels.
