

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) released its election manifesto with several welfare promises. The party announced that if it comes to power, it will provide free refrigerators to women heads of families who hold ration cards.
The party also promised to introduce a free bus travel scheme for men, similar to the existing scheme for women. In addition, it said that five lakh working women would receive two-wheelers with a subsidy of ₹25,000 to support their daily travel and work needs.
AIADMK further stated that it would waive education loans taken from banks if it forms the government. These promises were announced as part of the party’s plan to attract voters ahead of the elections in Tamil Nadu.
