TDP MP Kalisetti Appalanaidu questioned whether YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Tadepalli Palace, which is located near the Krishna river area, has ever faced flooding. He asked why such questions are raised now and pointed out that the palace stands safely in a river-side region. Appalanaidu alleged that Jagan is planning political moves against Andhra Pradesh from Yelahanka Palace in Bengaluru and demanded a CBI inquiry to find out what is happening there. He said he would write a letter to the Central Government seeking an investigation. He spoke to the media on Sunday near Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Undavalli.
Appalanaidu further alleged that YSRCP MPs Avinash Reddy and Mithun Reddy have seen a huge increase in their assets in recent times, which has surprised many MPs across the country. He claimed these assets were gained through illegal activities, land grabbing and threats. He also accused YSRCP MLAs of drawing salaries without attending the Assembly. He advised Jagan to at least come to the Assembly and speak about the problems of Pulivendula people who elected him.
Criticising the three-capital idea, Appalanaidu said Jagan has damaged the state in its name. He stated that while Chandrababu Naidu is working hard to develop Amaravati with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, YSRCP leaders are trying to block it. He mocked claims that Jagan likes Amaravati, saying people are laughing at such statements. Appalanaidu said he would prepare a video showing Amaravati’s development and major cities located near river banks and send it to Jagan in Bengaluru.
