Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that there is no need to politicize blood supply issues and urged the BRS to act as a responsible opposition by offering constructive suggestions to the government. On Tuesday, he met Congress state in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud at the MLA Quarters in Hyderguda, Hyderabad. Speaking to the media later, he emphasized the importance of cooperative politics.
Prabhakar said that the Kaleshwaram project had already suffered damage before the Congress government came to power and assured that water would be filled in the project as per the recommendations of the NDSA. He alleged that BRS leaders were deliberately politicizing Medigadda and Kannepalli issues. He advised leaders like KTR and Harish Rao to provide suggestions rather than indulge in blame games. He further stated that the state is prepared to tackle El Nino conditions and advised farmers to opt for alternative crops considering possible drought conditions.
