Telangana Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, during an informal interaction at the CLP, accused BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao of trying to discourage industries and investments in the state. He alleged that threatening investors was part of the BRS approach and rejected claims that the presence of the Chief Minister’s brother influenced the tender or land allotment process. Sridhar Babu said all matters related to his department were within his knowledge and maintained that the tenders were awarded legally and as per established rules.
The minister said the tender process was transparent, with seven promoters participating in the free-bid process, and denied any irregularities or changes in the procedure. He also rejected alleged links between the Tesarat company and the Chief Minister’s family, stating that no family member was officially on the company’s board. According to the minister, the company had obtained the required registrations and permissions, had made payments towards the land allotment and was already operating at IDL Jeedimetla. He accused KTR of spreading unverified figures and making claims based on social media information.
