Speaker’s Verdict in Telangana Defection Case Involving MLAs

The Telangana Speaker Prasad has delivered a key verdict in the defection cases involving MLAs. He stated that there was no concrete evidence to prove defection by MLAs Kale Yadayya and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, and accordingly granted them a clean chit. The Speaker also clarified that both will continue to be recognized as BRS MLAs.

Earlier, disqualification petitions filed against five MLAs in the same matter were dismissed. Meanwhile, cases related to MLAs Danam Nagender, Kadiyam Srihari, and Sanjay are still pending, the Speaker confirmed.
