Speaker Defers MLA Kadiyam Srihari Disqualification Petition to 19th

The Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar has deferred the hearing on the disqualification petition filed against Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari to the 19th of this month. Stating that the matter requires further examination, the Speaker announced the next date of hearing, drawing significant political attention in the state.

Meanwhile, the Speaker dismissed the disqualification petition filed against Jagtial MLA Sanjay Kumar, clarifying that there was no concrete evidence to prove that he had defected to another party. Reacting to the decision, MLA KP Vivekanand announced that the Speaker’s ruling would be challenged in court, signaling further legal proceedings in the matter.
