The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Andhra Pradesh concluded today as per the scheduled deadline. However, Communist parties have demanded an extension, alleging that many people did not receive enumeration forms and faced difficulties during the process. They expressed dissatisfaction over the implementation of SIR, particularly in urban areas.
The Communist parties have sought an additional three months to complete the process smoothly. They urged authorities to ensure that all eligible voters are included and that the revision exercise is conducted in a transparent and accessible manner.
