Shooting Targeting Gali Janardhan Reddy in Ballari

Political tension escalated in Ballari district of Karnataka following a firing incident near the residence of BJP MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy. The incident occurred on Saturday evening when supporters of Congress MLA Bharat Reddy attempted to install a banner outside Janardhan Reddy’s house, leading to a confrontation.

The argument soon turned violent, resulting in exchange of gunfire between the two groups. In the incident, a Congress party worker lost his life. Police rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and brought the situation under control. Security has been tightened in the area.

Reacting to the incident, Gali Janardhan Reddy alleged that there was a conspiracy to assassinate him. Bharat Reddy, however, denied these claims and demanded the immediate arrest of Janardhan Reddy, holding him responsible for the death of their party worker.

The incident has further intensified the political atmosphere in Ballari, with police launching a detailed investigation from all angles.
