Senior Congress leader and former minister T. Jeevan Reddy has announced that he will soon resign from the Congress party. Speaking to the media during his visit to Raikal town in Jagtial district on Sunday, he said that he has served the Congress party for several decades. However, due to the recent developments in the current political situation, he feels unable to continue in the party and has decided to resign first.
When asked whether he would go to Delhi to submit his resignation to the party leadership, he said he would do it from here itself. He also stated that after the festivals of Ramzan and Ugadi, he will hold another meeting with his supporters and then decide which party he may join in the future.
