Sasikala Enters Politics with a New Party

Political developments in Tamil Nadu are gaining momentum as the state prepares for the upcoming Assembly elections. In this context, V.K. Sasikala, a former AIADMK leader who was expelled from the party and a close aide of the late former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, has launched a new political party.

She announced that the party will be named “All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam.” Sasikala also revealed that the party’s official symbol will be the coconut tree.

Addressing the media along with her supporters, Sasikala shared details about the objectives of the new party and its future political strategy.
