RG Kar Victim's Mother Questions Delay in Justice

The mother of the RG Kar rape and murder victim has questioned the delay in delivering justice in the case, which became one of West Bengal's most significant political issues. Referring to an earlier statement by BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, she said he had promised that justice for her daughter would be ensured within seven days of the party coming to power. She noted that two months have already passed and asked why the assurance has not yet been fulfilled.

Despite expressing disappointment over the delay, the victim's mother said she continues to have faith in the government and believes justice will eventually be delivered. She also stated that the Chief Minister has fulfilled most of the promises made to the people. Her remarks have once again brought the RG Kar case into the spotlight, reviving public debate over accountability and the pace of the judicial process.
