Revolt Against Konda Surekha’s Family.. Key Resolution Sent to TPCC!

Differences between the Konda Surekha family and other Congress leaders in the erstwhile Warangal district have resurfaced, with the faction opposing the family reportedly seeking their suspension from the party. The demand comes in the wake of recent remarks allegedly made by Konda Sushmitha. Leaders from the opposing faction are said to have called for the suspension of the entire Konda family from the Congress. In this backdrop, Congress MLAs and leaders from Warangal who oppose Konda Surekha reportedly held a separate meeting.

According to party sources, the leaders passed a resolution seeking the suspension of the Konda family and forwarded it to the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. Differences between Konda Surekha and other Congress leaders in the erstwhile Warangal district have reportedly continued since the Congress government came to power. The recent remarks attributed to Konda Sushmitha are said to have intensified the internal differences. The latest developments have once again brought the factional differences within the Warangal Congress unit into focus.
