Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a Zoom meeting with Congress leaders to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign. He urged party leaders to make full use of the extended deadline until August 3 and strengthen field-level activities in every Assembly constituency. Revanth noted that the Congress had already conducted 489 meetings across 119 constituencies, but stressed that leaders in underperforming constituencies must improve their efforts immediately.
The Chief Minister instructed ministers, MLAs, MPs, constituency in-charges and corporation chairpersons to remain in the field instead of spending time in Hyderabad or at Gandhi Bhavan. He directed leaders to rely on Booth Level Agent (BLA) reports rather than depending solely on Booth Level Officer (BLO) reports and warned of strict action against negligence. He also announced a fresh review on July 30, with constituency-wise performance reports, and said the 100 best-performing BLAs would be given an opportunity to meet Rahul Gandhi.
