Former minister and BRS leader T. Harish Rao said the political decline of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s government would begin with the upcoming Graduate MLC elections. He was speaking at a constituency-level meeting on Graduate MLC voter enrolment preparations held at the Zoroastrian Club in Begumpet under the leadership of Sanath Nagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav. BRS general secretary R. S. Praveen Kumar, MLC Surabhi Vani Devi and Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav were among those present. Rao alleged that students, unemployed youth, employees and retired staff had all been affected by the Congress government’s policies.
Rao alleged that fee reimbursement funds had been stalled, affecting educational institutions across the state, and criticised the government over employment, employee allowances and pending pay revision issues. He also alleged irregularities and damage to Hyderabad’s real estate sector in connection with HYDRA and Section 22-A matters. Responding to the Chief Minister’s visit to Sircilla, Rao alleged that BRS workers were being arrested in large numbers and said the people of the region would respond to the government over the development record of K. T. Rama Rao.
