Discussions are likely to focus on the state’s political situation, the Congress leadership’s national-level activities and coordination among party representatives.
One of the main agenda items is the INDIA bloc’s proposed rally in Delhi on November 1 against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The chief minister is expected to discuss participation by Telangana’s Congress representatives. Preparations for two graduate MLC elections scheduled for March will also be reviewed, particularly voter registration, which is due to close on November 6, according to the report. Leaders from the six erstwhile districts covered by the two constituencies are expected to receive a roadmap for accelerating registration. The meeting is also expected to assess the impact of El Niño conditions across Telangana and identify precautionary measures the government may need to take.
