T. Harish Rao, senior leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and former minister, has thrown a challenge to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He demanded that instead of fielding another candidate, Revanth Reddy himself should contest from Siddipet and formally invited him to enter the fray.
Harish Rao remarked that “no matter how hard he tries, Revanth Reddy will not become Chief Minister again.” He stated that his party knows exactly when to make its political moves. On the possibility of Jeevan Reddy joining the BRS, he said it is better to wait and watch rather than speculate. He also expressed confidence that the proposed constituency delimitation would benefit his party.
Recently, while addressing a public meeting at Narmet in Siddipet district, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the Indian National Congress aims to win in Siddipet in the upcoming Assembly elections and announced that the winning candidate would be given a ministerial post. Responding to these remarks, Harish Rao issued this challenge.
