Rebel MLAs in the cabinet? Confusion among alliance partners

Confusion has emerged in the government led by Vijay in Tamil Nadu after reports claimed that AIADMK rebel MLAs might be inducted into the cabinet. The reports triggered concern among alliance partners, including VCK and Left parties, who opposed such a move and warned of reconsidering their support.

Tamil Nadu minister Aadhav Arjuna clarified that the reports are purely speculative. He stated that no decision has been taken to include rebel MLAs in the cabinet and that discussions were held with alliance partners before addressing the issue. The Vijay led government currently enjoys support from Congress, VCK, Left parties, and several rebel MLAs.
