BJP Telangana President N. Ramchander Rao alleged that “Education Jihad” is increasing under the Congress government in the state. He cited an incident at a private school in Saidabad, Hyderabad, where a Class 2 student was reportedly asked to write religious verses. Calling the incident alarming, he demanded a response from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and held the government accountable.
He criticized the lack of strict action by the government and education department so far. Rao stated that action against a single teacher is not enough and that the school management must be held responsible. He emphasized that educational institutions should not impose any religion and must respect students’ constitutional rights. He demanded a thorough probe and strict legal action, including cancellation of the school’s recognition if necessary.
