Ram Chander Rao, BJP State President, criticised the Congress government over rising fuel prices in Telangana, alleging that the party’s actions contradict its public statements on inflation and price hikes.
He stated that while petrol prices in BJP-ruled states are around ₹96 per litre, the same fuel is reportedly being sold for nearly ₹111 per litre in Congress-ruled Telangana. Ram Chander Rao accused the Congress government of imposing an additional burden of nearly ₹15 per litre on common people through higher taxes, while simultaneously expressing concern over public hardships. He further described the “Congress model” as one of excessive taxation and double standards.
