M Raghunandan Rao has launched a sharp political challenge against Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy amid escalating tensions between the BJP and Congress in the state. Addressing the media, Raghunandan Rao said that all eight BJP MPs from Telangana are prepared to resign if necessary and dared the Chief Minister to resign from his post, dissolve the Assembly, and seek a fresh mandate from the people.
The Medak MP asserted that the outcome should be decided by voters in a democratic contest rather than through political rhetoric. He also criticized recent political remarks and actions directed at BJP leaders, stating that the party respects the dignity of the Chief Minister’s office but should not be mistaken for being weak. Raghunandan Rao maintained that if Revanth Reddy is confident about public support, he should accept the challenge and face the electorate once again.
