

A. Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana government is moving forward with people-centric governance inspired by the ideals of Indira Gandhi and N. T. Rama Rao. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of NTR’s statue at Maitrivanam Circle in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, the Chief Minister described NTR as a leader admired across caste, religion, and regional boundaries. He said unveiling the statue of such an iconic personality would remain a memorable moment in his political journey.
Revanth Reddy praised NTR’s contribution to social welfare, women’s empowerment, and the upliftment of weaker sections. He highlighted that schemes such as subsidized rice distribution and welfare initiatives for women drew inspiration from NTR’s governance model. The Chief Minister also emphasized that his government is committed to transforming Hyderabad into a global city, with plans to develop a 30,000-acre Future City aimed at attracting multinational companies and creating employment opportunities for youth.
