Home Minister Amit Shah also welcomed the India-US trade agreement, terming it “historic.” He said that reducing tariffs to 18 percent strengthens the strategic partnership between the two nations and facilitates robust trade and mutual growth. Shah congratulated both Modi and Trump for bringing the historic deal to fruition, emphasizing that this milestone marks a new chapter in bilateral relations.
