

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the upcoming budget sessions are very important for the country's development and future. He stated that the government is preparing a budget aimed at building a “Developed India by 2047”, reflecting the dreams and expectations of the people.
During his speech in Parliament, thanking the President for her address, the Prime Minister said the President’s speech reflects the confidence of the Indian people and provides valuable guidance to all Members of Parliament. He expressed hope that all members would take her suggestions seriously.
Modi also mentioned that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is about to present the Union Budget for the ninth time — a rare honor in Indian parliamentary history. He said India has become a beacon of hope for the world and that the upcoming India-EU Free Trade Agreement will create many new opportunities for the youth and give a strong boost to the manufacturing sector.
