President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple on Friday morning. She first visited the Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple, following Tirumala’s traditional procedure, before proceeding to the main shrine. Upon her arrival, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, EO Anil Kumar Singhal, and Additional EO C.H. Venkayya Chowdary welcomed her with temple honors. The temple priests received the President with the customary Isthikapal welcome.
After offering prayers at the Dhwajastambham, the President had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. She was accompanied by State Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy.
Later, Veda scholars performed Veda Ashirvachanam for the President at Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD officials presented her with a portrait of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala prasadam, and the 2026 calendar and diary.
Several TTD board members and district officials, including Panabaka Lakshmi, Janaki Devi, Bhanu Prakash Reddy, CVSO Muralikrishna, Collector Dr. Venkateshwar, and SP Subbarayudu, participated in the event.
