Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has launched a fresh attack on the BRS leadership, alleging that during the party's ten-year rule, the people of Telangana were burdened with debts exceeding ₹8 lakh crore, while the assets of K. Chandrashekar Rao's family allegedly grew by thousands of crores. He questioned K. T. Rama Rao on how such a disparity was possible and accused the party of enriching itself at the expense of the public.
In a post on X, Ponguleti alleged that KCR has confined himself to his farmhouse instead of raising public issues while in the opposition. He mocked the BRS by suggesting it had become a "Farmhouse Rashtra Samithi" and claimed that the Congress government's Indiramma housing initiative would receive public support. He also asserted that the BRS would face another electoral defeat in the upcoming elections.
