Polling is scheduled on Thursday across 296 constituencies in Assam, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Puducherry. In Assam, the main contest is between BJP and Congress. Kerala witnesses a triangular contest among the Left, Congress, and BJP alliances. In Puducherry, NDA and DMK alliances are competing for supremacy.
In Assam, polling will take place across 31,490 polling stations in 126 constituencies. A total of 99 candidates are contesting from Congress and 90 from BJP. Kerala’s 140 constituencies will see polling at 30,495 centers, with 2.71 crore voters exercising their franchise. In Puducherry, voters will cast their votes at 1,099 polling stations across 30 constituencies.
