A fresh political twist has emerged in Tamil Nadu politics as uncertainty continues over the swearing-in ceremony of Vijay. Reports suggest that support letters from VCK and IUML have not yet reached the Governor, creating confusion over the majority required for government formation. At present, TVK’s strength reportedly stands at 116, one short of the crucial majority mark of 117 in the Assembly.
So far, the Governor has reportedly received support letters only from Congress, CPI, and CPM parties. With the magic figure still out of reach on paper, permission for Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony is yet to be granted. The ongoing developments have intensified political suspense across the state, with supporters and political observers closely watching the Governor’s next move.
