Pocharam Makes Key Remarks on Party Switch

BRS MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy made key remarks about his decision to switch parties, saying he did not change parties for a ministerial post or money. He said the decision was taken only for the development of his constituency. Pocharam added that he did not want to switch parties by betraying former Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, but circumstances left him with no choice.

Pocharam claimed that he was promised that pending bills would be cleared within six months after the switch, but only half of the promised funds were released. He also alleged that the Chief Minister and ministers were not answering his calls when he tried to seek funds. Pocharam further said, “I only wore the national flag, not the Congress flag”.
