

The Andhra Pradesh government has begun massive preparations for the centenary celebrations of Puttaparthi Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the event, prompting the state administration to strengthen arrangements and security across Puttaparthi.
For these celebrations, several top dignitaries are scheduled to participate, including President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh. All departments have been instructed to coordinate closely to ensure smooth conduct of the programmes.
On the 19th of this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Puttaparthi Airport in a special aircraft at around 8 AM. He will be welcomed by Chief Minister Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh. From the airport, Modi will head to Prasanthi Nilayam in a secured convoy.
At the Sai Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam, the Prime Minister will pay his respects at the Maha Samadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba as part of the centenary tributes. Following this, he will take part in the grand centenary celebrations arranged at Hill View Stadium and address the gathering. Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, the centenary committee, and AP ministers will join the programme.
On the 22nd, President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Radhakrishnan will attend the convocation ceremony of Sathya Sai University as chief guests. Considering the presence of high-profile guests, around 2,500 police personnel have been deployed to manage security across the region.
