

Narendra Modi reportedly spoke with newly sworn-in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay over the phone and congratulated him on assuming office. According to sources, the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to Vijay following his oath-taking ceremony. Earlier, Modi had also posted on X assuring the Tamil Nadu government of the Centre’s full support and wished Vijay success in leading the state.
C. Joseph Vijay formed the government with the support of several parties, including the Congress, after securing a massive victory in the Assembly elections. Vijay took oath as Chief Minister at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, along with several political leaders and film personalities, attended the grand swearing-in ceremony.
