PCC chief appeases Jeevan Reddy

In Jagityal town, senior Congress leader and former minister Jeevan Reddy hosted a meeting with PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC Secretary Sachin Sawant, and VIP Srinivas at his residence. Jeevan Reddy welcomed the leaders before discussing party matters amidst internal developments. During the meeting, he made it clear that he will not reverse his decision regarding the party switch.

PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed the hope that Jeevan Reddy continues with the Congress, acknowledging his long association with the party. He admitted that certain circumstances had caused difficulties due to party decisions but conveyed his desire for Jeevan Reddy to remain. Despite assurances, some leaders left the meeting disappointed. Jeevan Reddy is expected to officially resign from the Congress on the 25th of this month.
