YSRCP MP Peddi Reddy Mithun Reddy has strongly refuted Pawan Kalyan’s allegations that his family illegally encroached on 104 acres of forest land. Pawan Kalyan recently directed officials to investigate how such land could be inherited and questioned the legality of the alleged transfer.
Responding to these accusations, Mithun Reddy stated that neither he nor his family ever encroached on forest land. He clarified that the lands were legally purchased during the tenure of the then–Chandrababu Naidu government in the united Andhra Pradesh. He added that they possess complete legal rights over the properties, and anyone can verify the details online through survey numbers. All related documents are available and transparent, he said.
Challenging Pawan Kalyan directly, Mithun Reddy asked whether he could prove that the lands were encroached. He asserted that they can prove the lands were purchased legally, and if proven, Pawan Kalyan should issue an apology. He criticized attempts to defame his family, reminding that similar allegations were made earlier in connection with red sandalwood smuggling, and they had proved their innocence then as well.
He further stated that making baseless allegations such as land encroachment or red sanders smuggling, instead of facing them politically, is unfair. Their family maintains complete transparency in all matters, and their businesses ethically employ thousands of people, he added.
