Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party has been allotted one Rajya Sabha seat as part of the NDA coordination agreement in Andhra Pradesh. The decision was taken during a recent alliance meeting, where seat-sharing arrangements were finalized.
As per the understanding reached during the 2024 general elections, Jana Sena had earlier sacrificed some Lok Sabha seats with the assurance of Rajya Sabha representation between 2024 and 2029. Under this arrangement, three Rajya Sabha seats are expected to be allotted to the party over time, and the candidate for the current seat will be decided by party chief Pawan Kalyan, followed by an official announcement.
