

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday offered special prayers at his revered Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple, expressing deep devotion. He presented new garments to the deity, performed pradakshinas, and took part in special rituals. Honouring his promise made after the 2024 general election victory, Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone for major development works at the temple, including a Deeksha Viramana Mandapam and a 96-room choultry, with an estimated cost of Rs 35.19 crore, in collaboration with TTD.
He arrived at the temple around 11 am along with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Telangana Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, and local MLA Medipally Satyam, and was accorded a traditional Poornakumbham welcome by temple priests under the supervision of Endowments Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer. The chief priest Kapindra Swamy formally received him into the temple. Special prayers were offered to Anjaneya Swamy, Venkateswara Swamy, and Sri Lakshmi Ammavaru. Several dignitaries, including Endowments Commissioner Harish, EO T. Srikanth Rao, TTD board members, and Jana Sena leaders, were present on the occasion.
