Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has stepped up preparations for the upcoming local body elections. As part of the initiative, he has decided to establish special ad hoc committees across 25 parliamentary constituencies to strengthen the party’s organisational structure, collect ground-level information and assess election preparedness. The committees will function under Pawan Kalyan’s direct supervision, and he is expected to meet their members soon to provide guidance and review their progress.
Alongside the constituency-level committees, the party has also decided to appoint four central committees to handle election management and guidance, coordination among alliance partners, campaigning and treasury-related matters. The announcement indicates the party’s focus on improving coordination and strengthening its organisational network ahead of the local polls. The committee details for the Vijayawada parliamentary constituency are to be announced separately, while the remaining parliamentary committees are expected to be declared. Pawan Kalyan is also planning to hold meetings with the respective committees in the coming days.
