Opposition Spreading Falsehoods on CM Revanth Reddy’s Foreign Tours - MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy

Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has strongly criticised the BRS and BJP over their comments on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s foreign tours. He alleged that opposition leaders were making statements without having complete information and were attempting to create confusion over the state government’s development initiatives. He said that while the Revanth Reddy government was focusing on education and development in Telangana, the BRS and BJP were allegedly working against the state’s progress. He also accused the BRS of turning a surplus state into a debt-ridden state and questioned the opposition’s approach towards the Congress government.

The MP further raised questions over the development of the Musi project, Regional Ring Road and Metro expansion, besides the allocation of semiconductor investments. Referring to comments by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy regarding permissions for foreign travel, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister was permitted to visit the UK but faced issues regarding the US tour. He also questioned why semiconductor projects that were expected in Telangana were allegedly shifted to Gujarat. Referring to NITI Aayog-related concerns about education and training, he stressed the importance of skill development for the vision of a developed India. As chairman of the Congress media committee, he said he would closely monitor social media activity and urged party workers to counter what he described as false propaganda by the BRS and BJP.
