After a gap of nine months, opposition leader and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao attended the Assembly but stayed for only three minutes, triggering political reactions.
As soon as KCR entered the House, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy greeted him with a handshake. The Chief Minister later interacted with ministers and Congress MLAs. Soon after the session began, KCR exited the Assembly without participating in any discussion.
Congress leaders criticised the brief visit, stating that despite the BRS creating significant buzz about KCR’s arrival, he left the House almost immediately. Congress Whip Adi Srinivas alleged that KCR attended the Assembly only to mark his attendance to avoid disqualification, and said the Assembly should not be used for political symbolism.
